For Donita Hinckley, it wasn’t a question of why. It was more about asking when, where and how. Hinckley, a retired educator from Thomasville, knew the minute she found out her sister-in-law needed a kidney transplant that she was going to donate one of hers.
Stephanie Wilson is married to Hinckley’s brother, Howard. She went into kidney failure in 2019 and was required to start dialysis, but her ideal situation was a kidney transplant from a living donor.
